Nadarzyn — The House That Disappears Into the Forest
- Terrace doors nearly 15 meters wide
- Concealed fittings
This is one of those projects where technology had to step into the background — to let silence speak. Not only the acoustic kind, but also visual stillness — the calm of form, the rhythm of nature, the respect for place. The architecture opens widely toward the forest — it doesn’t compete, nor try to be stronger. Our task was to design and install joinery that would honor this intent. Precisely engineered aluminium structures — over 109 m² in total — frame the surrounding landscape. Their dark tone almost blends with the shadows of the trees, while large glazed surfaces with slender profiles allow light and greenery to flow inside without barriers.
The terrace doors, nearly 15 meters wide, were designed to guide the gaze — not stop it. Glass panels, structural details, black UV silicones, concealed fittings — all intentionally fade from view, so nothing distracts from the experience. As always, installation was carried out with attention to tightness and durability — but also with the idea that every element of this joinery should quietly “disappear” into the background.
It’s a house that doesn’t try to tell a story. It wants to be the backdrop for life — a filter that lets light through, holds back noise, and opens space. Instead of dominating — it breathes with the forest.
